Elective and Traumatic Hand, Wrist, Elbow Surgery

Some conditions require surgery if conservative management does not help settle the symptoms. Examples of these conditions include:

  • Arthritis
  • Joint deformities
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • DeQuevains disease
  • Dupuytrens contracture
  • Ganglions
  • Trigger finger
  • Ulnar nerve compression
  • Tendon and ligament injuries

At Hand Works, we are very experienced in treating patients post-surgery. We have skills in orthosis fabrication, wound and scar management, graded rehabilitation programs, and will communicate with the surgeon to formulate a personalized rehabilitation program, allowing the patients to return to their pre-injury occupational roles within an appropriate time-frame.
